ABOUT PAUL DODGSON
I recently presented and produced four series of New Creatives Dramas on BBC Radio 4Extra. I am currently a Royal Literary Fund Writing Fellow at the University of Bristol.

I have taught at Exeter and Falmouth Universities, appeared at literary festivals across the UK and run writing workshops around the world.
​
On The Road Not Taken: a memoir about the power of music was published in 2019 by Unbound Books.
​
For BBC television I have written Eastenders, and have been a script consultant on drama documentaries including Monsters We Met and Patagonia: Earth’s Secret Paradise.
​
I have written over twenty plays and stories for BBC Radio 4 and directed and produced many more. These have included autobiographical plays such as Home, a retelling of the folk tale, The Mermaid of Zennor and the comedy musical Binge Drunk Britain
​
In theatre, my work includes an adaptation of the Robin Hood story for a cast of 60 young people and music and lyrics for Alice Though the Looking Glass at Tobacco Factory Bristol and The Nutcracker for Theatre Royal Bath.
​
I am an independent singer/songwriter. My songs have been streamed more than 75k times and my music has been played on BBC national and local radio stations.
